Sports Injuries
At Gait Way Podiatry, North Lakes, we see a lot of athletes in our clinic and have a special interest in treating sport injuries. Commonly, sporting injuries are often the result of a biomechanical issue. When it isn’t performing to the best of its ability, it can develop a compensation. This can result in an overload of muscles, ligaments and tendons. This is why we conduct a biomechanical assessment, to help determine the underlying factors contributing to the condition.
A biomechanical assessment is conducted to look at posture, gait and joint movements to give a comprehensive insight into the body!
